If you’ve been involved in the construction or insulation industry, you probably already know there’s a shortage of MDI, the raw material that’s used to manufacture PIR. Industry professionals have been left with shortages, limits on the amount of insulation that can be purchased and even unfulfilled orders.

Luckily, there’s another material available that offers high thermal performance at a fraction of the cost when compared to PIR. Expanded Polystyrene, or EPS for short, has been around for decades and is a proven material. It can be used in a variety of applications such as cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, internal wall dry lining, floor insulation, attic and roof insulation and even insulated foundation systems.

The short video below explains the benefits of choosing Expanded Polystyrene for floor insulation applications.
