04/10/2017 - KORE to Exhibit at World Nearly-Zero Energy Building (nZEB) Forum
KORE is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at the World nZEB Forum 2017 in Wexford, Ireland. The event will take place on the 15th - 16th November 2017 at Clayton Whites Hotel.
Pre-forum workshops will take place on Wednesday, 15th November, including air tightness workshops, thermal bridging analysis, ventilation, heating and cooling, networking events and a ticketed gala dinner. The main event will take place on Thursday, 16th November and will include parallel presentations in the morning and afternoon. Topics will include:

KORE is pleased to be attending an NSAI Certificate Presentation event on Friday, 4th November 2016. This event will recognise KORE and various organisations who have achieved certification for a range of international standards. For KORE, this includes:
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
- ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
- ISO 18001:2007 Health & Safety Management Systems
The Minister for Employment and Small Business, Minister Pat Breen, and the Chief Executive of NSAI, Maurice Buckley, will be in attendance as speakers and to present the certificates.

11/07/2016 - KORE to Exhibit at Dublin & Cork SelfBuild Shows
KORE is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at both the Dublin and Cork SelfBuild Shows in 2016. The dates of the shows are as follows:
- Dublin: 9th, 10th and 11th of September from 10am to 6pm at Citywest Conference Centre Dublin
- Cork: 12th and 13th of November from 10am to 6pm at Millstreet, Green Glens Arena
In addition, one of KORE's Business Development Executives, Andrew Butler, will speak on Saturday, 11th September at the show's Building Experts Programme. The seminar will introduce you to the benefits of using expanded polystyrene in low energy builds for the following applications: floor insulation, pitched roof insulation, cavity wall insulation and external wall insulation. It's that time of year again! Now in its sixteenth year, The Energy Show organised by SEAI will take place on 6th and 7th April at the RDS, Dublin 4. KORE is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at this year's Energy Action Fuel Poverty Conference on the 5th of October at Croke Park in Dublin. This full day event will focus on the topic of Housing, Health and Well-Being in the 21st Century. Keynote speakers include:

KORE is happy to be sponsoring the Passive House Association of Ireland's 2015 'See the Light Northern Passive House Conference'. The full day event will take place on Thursday, 24th of September at the CREST Passive Pavilion, Technology & Skills Centre in Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh. In addition to sponsoring the event, KORE will be exhibiting in the main breakout room. Our team will be available to take questions throughout the day so be sure to stop by!
This year's See the Light Conference will be held in a Passive House designed building - the CREST Passive Pavilion. The venue itself will showcase the possibilities of sustainable construction and low energy design.

KORE is happy to announce the launch of our new Online Resource Centre on the KORE website! At KORE we understand the importance of keeping technical libraries up to date. The KORE Online Resource Centre will act as a central database, housing the technical information for our vast product line. Each product will now have a variety of technical documents available for immediate download by industry professionals. These documents include:
- Design Guides - this includes sample U-value calculations for common applications, technical information including thermal conductivity and thermal resistance, Building Regulations related to each product, installation guidelines and product characteristics, among others
- Typical Construction Details
- Condensation Risk Analysis
- Declaration of Performance Certificates
Users of the new Online Resource Centre will receive notifications whenever new technical documents are uploaded or when current documents are replaced by updated versions, ensuring industry professionals always have access to the most up to date information. The system is compatible with computers and most tablets and mobile phones, making it easy to use when you're on the road or away from the office.

KORE is proud to announce our participation in SEAI's Better Energy Warmer Homes Scheme by offering free cavity wall insulation and attic insulation nationwide. The Scheme is aimed at reducing energy poverty and increasing energy efficiency in homes across Ireland.
To qualify you must own a home that was built before 2006 and you must be in receipt of one of the following programmes: (1) Fuel Allowance as part of the National Fuel Scheme, (2) Job Seekers Allowance for more than 6 months and with children under 7 years of age and (3) Family Income Supplement.

25/08/2014 - KORE Offers Energy Efficiency Incentive to Homeowners Across Ireland
KORE's new Energy Efficiency Incentive Programme offers homeowners discounts on their energy bills with the installation of a wide variety of energy saving measures. Qualifying measures include roof insulation, external wall insulation, internal dry lining insulation, cavity wall insulation, floor insulation, high-efficiency gas and oil fired boilers, heating control upgrades, window replacement and door replacement. Each installed measure counts towards discounts on the homeowners electricity bill and can be combined with other programmes such as the Better Energy Homes Scheme offered by SEAI for additional savings.

07/08/2014 - KORE Approved for 2014 Better Energy Communities and Areas Project in Co. Cavan
KORE Insulation has been approved by SEAI to lead a project in the Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan area to retrofit 11 rural homes that are approximately 100 years old and contain little to no existing insulation. Several energy efficiency measures will be installed, including cavity wall insulation, roof insulation and external insulation. Other high efficiency upgrades are to include boilers with heating controls, lighting and door replacements.
KORE will provide updates of the Better Energy Communities and Areas project as the works progress.
24/07/2014 - KORE Installers to Offer Insulation Services under the Better Energy Warmer Homes Scheme for 2014
KORE is proud to announce that several companies within our nationwide network of insulation installers have been selected to participate in the 2014 Better Energy Warmer Homes Scheme offered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. The Warmer Homes Scheme offers free insulation and energy efficiency measures to households that meet the qualification guidelines.
Services that qualify under the Warmer Homes Scheme include attic insulation, draught proofing, lagging jackets, low energy light bulbs, cavity wall insulation and energy advice to the homeowner. Energy efficiency measures are offered at no cost to homeowners and to landlords whose tenants are at risk of energy poverty.

KORE Insulation lead efforts to deliver the Best Practice Retrofit demonstration area at the SEAI Energy Show in the RDS. KORE welcome the news that Maxit Building Products (Ireland) Ltd have received Irish Agrement Board Certification for their
Maxit Insulating Concrete Formwork Render System, Certificate Number 07/0296. The product has been assessed for use as an external render finish for application onto IAB approved, standard white, fire retarded grade ICF systems. The system is perfect for application onto the KORE ICF System. The Maxit System is certified to comply with all key requirements of the building regulations including resistance to weather and moisture, fire resistance and energy efficiency.
