KEY BENEFITS

SUPERIOR THERMAL PROPERTIES

Floor Insulation Thermal Properties

Installing KORE Floor Insulation will contribute substantially to a building's energy efficiency. KORE Floor is available in two grades of insulating material, KORE White and KORE Silver. KORE Silver can provide higher insulation values than the standard white material. You can view our floor insulation technical details to compare U-values between KORE Floor White and KORE Floor Silver.

SUITABLE FOR USE WITH UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Floor Insulation with Underfloor Heating

KORE Floor Silver is the ideal solution for insulation with underfloor heating. The graphite flakes that give the product its distinguishable silver colour is responsible for reflecting the heat radiation from the heating source back into the building. KORE Floor Insulation easily achieves Ireland's Building Regulation of 0.15W/m2K when used in combination with an underfloor heating system.

EXCELLENT COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH

Floor Insulation Compressive Strength

KORE Floor is available in a number of compressive strengths and is suitable for application under very heavy loads. For further technical information please join the KORE Resouce Centre to view our full library of technical documents.

SUITABLE FOR DAMP CONDITIONS

Floor Insulation is Suitable for Damp Conditions

KORE Floor Insulation is very simple and safe to install and can even be laid in damp conditions. KORE's EPS floor insulation will not absorb water and its performance will not be affected.

FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH CONCRETE

Floor Insulation is Fully Compatible with Concrete

KORE Floor is completely compatible with concrete. The two products work simultaneously to construct a strong flooring system. KORE Floor can be installed below a concrete floor slab, below a cement based screed on a concrete slab with a hardcore base, above a suspended concrete floor and between the joists of a suspended timber floor.

SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

EPS Floor Insulation is Environmentally Friendly

KORE Floor Insulation will last the lifetime of any building where it's installed. KORE EPS does not degrade over time, does not absorb water and will not rot or mould. Like any of our Expanded Polystyrene products, KORE Floor can be recycled once a building has reached the end of its useful life and turned into a variety of other products made from EPS.

BRE Green Guide Awards KORE Floor Insulation with an A+ Environmental Rating.

KORE FLOOR INSULATION IS FULLY CERTIFIED

KORE Floor Insulation is Fully Certified

The KORE Floor Insulation System is fully certified by the Irish Agrément Board for use in applications listed within the certificate. View our KORE Floor IAB Certification.

KORE Floor is certified by NSAI with Agrement Certificate Number 04/0097 and manufactured to BS EN 13163:2012 and EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
