KORE Lock Pitched Roof Insulation

KORE Lock is an insulation system for use in warm and cold pitched roofs. For warm pitched roof applications, The KORE Lock Sheet is installed between the rafters, along with KORE Warmsark Board over the rafters. For cold pitched roof applications, the KORE Lock Sheet is installed between the rafters, along with KORE Thermal Board on the underside of the rafters.

Made from expanded polystyrene, KORE Lock is simple and safe to install. The unique cut of the variable width panels allows the product to be compressed slightly for easy insertion between the rafters. Once in place, the panels return to its normal size and remain securely in place. Thermal bridges are limited through the use of KORE Warmsark and KORE Thermal Boards for warm pitched and cold pitched roofs respectively.

 KORE Loft Insulated Attic Flooring

INSULATED ATTIC FLOORING SYSTEM

Technical Information | Installation Guidelines

Insulated Attic Flooring System

The KORE Loft Insulated Attic Flooring System has been designed to allow the floor of an attic to be insulated without having to compromise storage space. KORE Loft is essential for ensuring there is safe and secure access from the attic hatch to the water tank and other services located in the attic.

KORE Loft is comprised of one composite sheet of silver expanded polystyrene insulation bonded to an 18mm tongue and grooved chipboard sheet. The sheets sit on top of the joists in the attic and slot together to form a floor for access and storage. A suitable insulation material is also installed between the joists at ceiling level to ensure the required U-values are achieved.
