How do I qualify for free insulation?
To qualify for KORE's Warmer Homes Scheme you must own your home and it must have been built before 2006. In addition, you must be in receipt of one of the following benefits:
|Fuel Allowance as part of the National Fuel Scheme or|
|Job Seekers Allowance for over six months and with children unders 7 years of age or|
|Family Income Supplement|
|One-Parent Family Payment|
|Domiciliary Care Allowance (Starting 1st January 2018)|
If you are in receipt of any of programmes above you may qualify for free insulation and energy efficiency upgrades. You must submit an application to KORE that has been approved and stamped by your local Department of Social Protection. You can search for your local office on the Department's website.

What if I don't qualify for free cavity wall and attic insulation?
You may still qualify for KORE's Energy Efficiency Incentive. This incentive offers a discount on your electricity or gas bill by installing a wide range of energy efficiency measures. If your home was built before 2006 you may still qualify for a cash grant from SEAI to help cover the cost of installation. Learn more about KORE's Energy Efficiency Incentive.
