KORE Fill is made from expanded polystyrene, or EPS. This material is water resistant, rot-proof and doesn’t degrade over time. Small holes are drilled into the exterior walls of the home in a certified and approved pattern. The drill pattern may vary slightly depending on the type of home. This pattern and system ensures that the cavity is completely filled with insulation.

Unlike internal wall dry lining, cavity wall insulation is pumped into the cavity from the outside of the home and, on average, takes less than one day to install. All holes that are drilled into the exterior walls are filled and coloured to match the home’s existing appearance. You won’t notice any difference in the appearance of your home after the works are complete. There is no on-site storage of materials required, and all machinery and left over material is disposed of by the contractor at the end of the day.
The installation time depends on the size of the home and the width of the cavity. Most homes can be pumped in just a few hours. It’s advisable to have attic insulation installed or topped up to at least 300mm for maximum benefit and heat retention. The contractor may also install roof and wall ventilation depending on the requirements of the home. All works will be discussed with you during the initial site survey.
