This year, KORE celebrates a quarter of a century in business as an award-winning expanded polystyrene insulation manufacturer.
KORE, formerly known as Airpacks Ltd., was founded by Tommy Brady, Helen Brady and Jimmy Macken in 1997, with a 60ft x 190ft factory in Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, manufacturing expanded polystyrene insulation boards.
In 25 years, KORE has grown exponentially to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of over 56,000 sq/ft, with 80 employees, and a full suite of insulation solutions for floor, wall and roof applications, including Ireland’s only NSAI approved Insulated Foundation System, and EPS solutions for civil engineering applications such as void formers and void fillers.
Sustainability and innovation are at the forefront of KORE’s future plans to meet the growing demands of the construction industry with sustainable EPS, while striving to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
KORE celebrates a proud milestone
KORE honoured this milestone with an event for all our employees at the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan, with celebratory presentations from each department, and speeches from company directors Noel Brady, Caroline Ashe Brady and Pauric Kavanagh.
We recognised the hard work and dedication of our employees with some special prizes and awards, including an outstanding long service award to Tommie Cusack for 25 years at KORE, and Terence Galligan for 24 years.
