Meet Andrew Duffy, Specification Manager for Ireland and the U.K.
With more than 20 years of experience working with specialised products within the construction industry, Andrew brings an exceptional depth of technical knowledge and practical expertise to the KORE team. His experience spans hands-on installation, product design, specification, and technical sales giving him a well-rounded understanding of construction products from concept through to on-site delivery.
Andrew’s career began with the Larsen Group in both Dublin and Belfast, where he worked with complex specialist systems including flooring resins, concrete repair solutions, and structural strengthening products. This practical foundation paved the way for his roles with industry-leading companies such as Sika Ireland and Sherwin-Williams, where he spent many years specifying and selling products across Ireland, Scotland, and the North of England.
Andrew has worked closely with architects and design teams while specifying acoustic solutions with Saint-Gobain Ecophon. He also carries a Master Tiling Design certificate from the renown Sopro Bauchemie speciality products based in Germany.
In his role as Specification Manager, he is focused on helping bring KORE’s vision and mission to life by supporting the delivery of evolving EPS products and systems to the construction industry.
One of Andrew’s key objectives is to design and deliver tailored CPD presentations nationwide, helping professionals better understand modern construction solutions while supporting the specification of KORE systems from the earliest stages of project design. By building stronger relationships with architects and specifiers, Andrew aims to help futureproof the pipeline of KORE specified projects across Ireland and the UK.
Speaking about joining the company, Andrew highlighted the collaborative culture within KORE as one of the things that stood out most to him.

Outside of work, Andrew is a proud husband and father to two boys. Family life plays a huge role in his day-to-day routine, whether that’s bringing his sons to athletics, GAA, and swimming, or spending time outdoors together.
He also enjoys running, going to the gym, and walking, with family trips to the Hill of Tara and Dún na Rí Forest Park among their favourite activities.
Recently completing a self-build home has also given Andrew an even deeper appreciation for modern methods of construction and the future of residential building.
